Back in 2021, before ChatGPT existed, OneAdvanced wanted to surface AI capabilities in the platform. They needed a way to show users when AI was involved. This was pre-hype AI — no one was talking about it yet. The brief was simple: create a visual presence that could indicate when the system was using machine learning behind the scenes.

The Designs
Character concepts and UI explorations for how it would appear across the platform. The character needed to feel helpful without being intrusive. Friendly enough to trust, subtle enough not to distract. These explorations show different approaches — from minimal indicators to more expressive characters.
