Mitrefinch had multiple products that didn't really talk to each other. Each one handled users differently, permissions lived in different places, and switching between them felt disjointed. MF Account was designed to fix that — a central hub connecting everything.
Depending on which features a client purchased, different products ended up being the "master" for user data. Relationships were inconsistent, maintenance was time-consuming, and there was no single source of truth. We needed something to tie it all together.

A central system that all other products connect to. User management, permissions, groups, audit logs, core HR record, documents — all defined once in MF Account and fed through to each connected product. One user profile across the ecosystem.

Solution 1

The core shipped: unified user management, permissions, and a single source of truth across the product suite. I'd designed a bigger vision — customisable dashboards for each product, all housed within MF Account. Proof of concepts for Payroll and Time & Attendance showed what was possible. Then other priorities took over, and the acquisition changed everything. The foundation was solid — just never got to build on top of it.
