
Beyond product design, this role covers all graphical and creative work across the business — brand, marketing collateral, website, video production, advertising, sales support, investor materials. Inherited a recent rebrand with a logo featuring sun rays. The colour palette was a mess. First priority was resetting to safe ground, then building from there.
The sun rays on the logo created a natural connection to sky. That became the anchor for the whole brand — blue hues ranging from dusk to high summer, cloud shapes as recurring visual elements. Cohesive, calming, professional. The real breakthrough was AI imagery. I admired Zendesk's photoshoot aesthetic — photographers, sets, actors. We don't have that budget. But Midjourney can recreate that feel. HR professionals "on cloud nine" — people at desks in the sky, looking relaxed. Life is easy with edays. Tested with HR professionals, refined, then rolled out across the website.

Sky Theme
All major product launch videos are produced in-house — assets designed in Figma, vectorised and animated in After Effects. Music production is a hobby of mine, so some videos feature custom soundtracks that give them a distinctive edge over stock audio.
For marketing collateral, I built a template system that streamlines collaboration. The team drafts content using PowerPoint templates, I create custom imagery in Figma and drop it in, then polish the final output. This workflow has produced 20-30 ebooks and one-pagers — fast turnaround without sacrificing quality.

The role touches everything visual. Ad campaigns, event materials, investor decks, sales collateral. At a smaller company, you don't get to specialise — you do what needs doing, and you get good at switching contexts fast.
